About the Artist

Hi! My name is Desiree Nadeau. I am a wife and stay at home mom to 4 beautiful children, a dog and cat. Crafting and art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and has been a great benefit in helping me deal with my mental health struggles over the years. Although I have tried my hand at many types of art, in 2023 I settled in on creating with resin, and to try to pursue a small handmade business.
In early 2024, I got the crochet bug and started crocheting plushies. I fell in love! After much nudging from family and friends, I took a leap and applied to the Ice House to show case my work. In May of 2024, I was accepted to display my work here at The Ice House. I was in utter shock, but so excited and nervous at the same time. I am so absolutely grateful to be given this opportunity!
