About the Artist

Deciding we had enough of the heat in the summer (Kamloops) and the stress of city living, my husband and I moved to Terrace in 2013. And have loved every day of living in the Pacific Northwest.
We are avid outdoors people who love fishing, camping, going for walks with a dog and everything nature offers.
I am also a very committed gardener growing, harvesting and preserving most of our vegetables for the year in a couple of large vegetable gardens.
Living in Terrace has given me more opportunity to explore the fibre arts, which I have always been heavily involved with since childhood, so weaving was just a natural progression. I love to play with colour and see where it takes me and am often inspired by nature. I believe we should use what we have and not wait for a special day, so I weave functional items for everyday and personal use.
